Xally Ramirez

I'm Xally Ramirez, a senior at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco studying Interaction & UI/UX Design. I'm originally from Mexico City — I moved here to build something, and that's exactly what I've been doing.

Before design school, I co-founded a nut butter brand in Mexico, handled everything from branding to ops, and learned that the part I love most is the moment a messy idea becomes a structured concept. That's what brought me to product.

My work sits at the intersection of product, human behavior, and real problems. I don't just design screens — I think about systems, incentives, and how products shape the way people live. I've worked on a fintech app for couples, a browser extension for ethical shopping, a dating app that pushes people toward real-life connection, and a community platform for international students in SF. Each one started with a problem I genuinely cared about.

Outside of work I'm a recovering ballet dancer (18 years), a bachata enthusiast, a skier, and someone who has visited an embarrassing number of pastry shops in San Francisco. I'm graduating in May 2026 and looking for early-stage product roles where I can wear multiple hats and build from scratch.
